Al heel lang waren we van plan een fietsstoel aan te schaffen. Vince was nog iets te klein toen we die gedachten hadden dus we hadden nog wel tijd. Maar ons kennende … Daarom kwam dit fietsstoeltje van Thule als geroepen. We mochten het uittesten. Ja graag! / A while ago we were thinking of buying a child bike seat. That’s why we were very happy that we could test this Thule RideAlong. Yes please.

 

De fietsstoel oogt mooi vind ik zelf. Toch ook wel fijn. Niet het belangrijkste uiteraard, maar… fijn. Zwart met een zachte grijze binnenkant en blauwe accenten. Lekker zacht om te zitten dus. De bekleding is waterafstotend en omkeerbaar. Je kan hem ook wassen in de wasmachine. Oef!

The child bike seat looks beautiful. This is not the most important thing of course but…it’s nice. Black with a grey adjustable padded harness to provide maximum child comfort and a safe, custom fit. The detachable, water-repellent padding is machine washable and reversible, offering two color options. Yay!

Uiteraard moest aapje mee op de fiets. Vince vond het meteen erg leuk! “Fietsen , fietsen, fietsen”, riep hij de hele tijd. Problemen met hem in het stoeltje te zetten gaan we dus niet hebben. Het stoeltje is voorzien voor kinderen van 9 maanden tot 6 jaar. Lijkt wel dat Vince comfi zit.

His monkey had to ride along! Vince was thrilled about it. We’ll not going to have problems to put them in the bike seat, I think. The seat is suitable for kids from 9 months up to 6 years old. It looks like Vince sits comfi. Don’t you think? 

Je kan het stoeltje ook in een andere stand zetten met één handklik. Hij vangt schokken op, heeft verschillende specificaties. Wie graag wil weten wat er allemaal zo speciaal is aan dit stoeltje, klikt best even *hier* . Alle weetjes vind je beknopt terug. Hij is zeker niet te zwaar.

Het stoeltje is écht wel super. Een ingebouwde reflector, aangename zithouding en riempjes om te voetjes in de steken. Dat vond Vince minder leuk. Hij wist niet goed wat er gebeurde omdat dit de eerste keer was. De riemen waarmee we Vince vastmaken zijn dik, comfortabel en makkelijk. Net zoals de autostoel!

This child bike seat is really awesome.  There’s a built-in reflector and safety light attachment point which provides added visibility, a comfi seat position and a single-hand adjustable foot straps and foot rests allow for convenience and flexibility as a child grows. Vince didn’t like those straps because he isn’t used to sit in a child bike seat. The straps for Vince are very comfi and easy just like the car seat.

Vince zette zich goed en vond het allemaal best leuk! Nu kunnen we met een gerust hart gaan fietsen als het weer wat beter weer wordt. Binnenkort kunnen we dus samen met de fiets naar school. De helm hadden we voor de foto even achterwege gelaten maar die ligt netjes klaar voor als we vertrekken. Ik kijk al uit naar die warme zomerdagen dat we samen naar het park kunnen fietsen. Zucht…

Vince thought it was all good and had a lot of fun. Now, we can ride our bikes when the weather allows us to. Vince’s helmet was ready to use. I am looking forward to nice, warm weather so we can ride our bikes and have a lot of fun!

Onderstaand filmpje is ook best handig om eens te bekijken. Zo zie je wat je er allemaal mee kan doen. Ben je dus nog op zoek naar een goede investering raad ik je zeker Thule aan. Naast de gekende dakkoffers zetten ze nu ook meer in op kinderwagens en toebehoren. Zo mocht ik de Runner testen en man… wat een handige kinderwagen. Nee echt waar.
