I first noticed Gardner and the gang when I visited a shop in Belgium I wrote about. You can read about it *here*. I was very fond of the sweaters and playful colors. Since I wanted to put more colors in Vince’s wardrobe. You can find a lot of prints in their collection but also a few items with less colors and prints. What about this Jackets? The boots are just awesome. Do you see your kid walking in those boots? I do, … It’s a limited edition. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Gardner and the Gang is founded by Kristin Nystrom, a Swede living in Singapore. All items are super soft,comfy and play friendly and fashionable! Kristin draws all prints and makes characters that all have a story to tell.
We love to come up with different themes for each range, ones that children and parents alike can relate to and fall in love with. Our original art is all hand-drawn, and these drawings are turned into screens, which are then screen-printed on organic cotton.

28 november 2015 at 20:34Vorige zomer kocht ik het jurkje met de zebra’s voor mijn dochter, maat 6-8 jaar. Mijn ervaring is helaas niet echt positief, het valt erg klein (lees: kort) en kwam amper onder haar poep waardoor ze verplicht was om er een legging onder te dragen zo kort was het. Mijn dochter was net zes geworden en heeft een normale lichaamsbouw.
Het jurkje is wel erg breed (lijkt wel alsof ze de lengte willen compenseren). En na het wasadvies exact te volgen, is het na het wassen veel van zijn kleur verloren en begint het al op te wollen (jawel, na één wasbeurt).
Het is idd een erg leuk merk, vind ik ook nog steeds, maar prijs/kwaliteit komt naar mijn gevoel écht niet overeen.
Ofwel lagen mijn verwachtingen te hoog, dat kan ook natuurlijk 🙂

28 november 2015 at 20:47Oh dat is erg jammer! Ik heb het ook al een keer gehad hoor, dat ik iets tegenvallen vond. Niet bij hen maar met andere merkjes. Ik heb ook al ondervonden dat Amerikaanse maten vrij raar vallen. Hopelijk was het net dat modelletje en zijn de andere kledingstukken beter? Je kan hen misschien wel eens mailen? Misschien kunnen ze er dan iets aan doen. Bedankt voor je eerlijke mening!

Wel vind ik het nog steeds een erg leuk merk met enorm leuke kleertjes!

29 november 2015 at 12:54Nee hoor, je komt niet bot over. Als je enkel maar positief zou mogen reageren dan zou het maar erg zijn hé. Iedereen mag hier zijn eigen mening zeggen als dit zoals jou op een beleefde manier is 🙂 Is goed om te weten want sommige merkjes vallen klein, anderen groot. Het is soms moeilijk hé.
